While the American public and our troops were told that the war
in Iraq was about security, democracy and freedom, the Bush-Cheney
administration and the
corporations they serve had their eyes on the oil ... and the profits the oil
and the war would bring. The President said he wanted us to be clear:
"Iraqi oil belongs to the Iraqi people." But
the facts show otherwise. ... Send a message to Washington, to
the oil conglomerates, and, most of all, to our troops, letting them know that
we know ... and we care enough to do something about it.
